I LOVE local farmers markets–so vending at one is always a pleasure.
Tomorrow September 29, I’ll be at the Farmers’ Fall Festival in Downtown Cary (NC). It’s a day-long event (8-4) with produce, crafts, food trucks plus beer and wine and a bouncy house.
Since I hate to sit still, I’ll also be sewing. My travel machine is packed and there are plenty of projects to work on–
Here are a few that are already finished for tomorrow’s sale.
This mid century chicken table topper is quilted and appliqued in fall colors with vintage rick-rack.
And a new design this year, my harvest aprons have BIG button down pockets for produce.
Plus, a great use for short pieces of trim and wonderful vintage buttons–fabric wrap bracelets. It’s great fun making these.
Hope to see you tomorrow in Downtown Cary. Everyone have a great weekend.
