Just in time for Mother’s Day shopping, Cary’s Fest in the West happens tomorrow from 11-5, at the USA baseball complex on Brooks Lane. I’ve made 6 new harvest aprons for the occasion. Here’s a sampling of two favorites from the new crop.
Of course, the best part of my harvest aprons is the drop down pocket–perfect for packing with summer tomatoes and squash. (No more stretched tee shirts)
And I’ve just restocked another favorite design–my vintage fabric organizers. I use one of these for toiletries and earrings when I travel. The clear ziplock bags make things easy to find. They hang from hooks and towel bars and my personal organizer has last more than 5 years.
My crafty neighbor who does clever metal stamping will also be my neighbor at the festival. Look for Magpie and Bertie and Kiki’s Rewind Designs in the Village of Arts and Crafts tomorrow. Fest in the West will also feature live music, food trucks, and a kids zone. Fest in the West, 11-5, USA Baseball Complex, 200 Brooks Lane, Cary.
